Carlos Teves opened United’s account eight minutes into the second period, before Christiano Ronaldo netted a double and Wayne Rooney wrapped up the scoring. The Red Devil’s sixth straight league win did come at a price with the loss through injury of Louis Saha before the match and Nemanja Vidic and John O’Shea during it.
