american pie beta house
American Pie Presents: Beta House is a 2007 comedy film that was shot in Toronto and Hamilton (some scenes at McMaster University), Ontario. This film is the third in the American Pie Presents series, and sixth in the overall American Pie series.
"Beta House" reunites most of the The Naked Mile cast and places them in the college setting, working to defend Dwight Stifler's (Steve Talley) Beta Delta Xi Fraternity against rival fraternity Epsilon Sigma Kappa (GEEK's). While defending the house, Erik Stifler's (John White) new love, Ashley (Meghan Heffern), feels that the fraternity is nothing but trouble.
"Beta House" picks up where the Naked Mile left off. Erik and Cooze are attending their first year at college, and Dwight Stifler brings the boys into the Beta fraternity. In this film Erik is no longer with Tracy, his girlfriend in the last film, she has left him for Trent and is not in the film. The boys go through a long list of trials to get into the Beta fraternity. They end up being challenged by the GEEKs for their house to end their feud once and for all. Dwight wants to put an end to the Geeks who keep messing with the Beta traditions. In the end the Beta house beats the GEEKs and take their mansion house making them the dominant house once again. Mr. Levenstein is Dwight's lawyer and a former Beta, so he makes his appearance in the film.
I find this movie sucks instead of naked woman and man around. No good story line. I'd not rate any star. Thumb down~dirty toilet
I hate dirty toilet so much. I mean... so much. To shit or pee at public toilet is really a hard thing to do, and if its dirty... sorry to say, I won't even go in.
Recently, a tax payer [I assume "a" tax payer] shit in my office toilet. Guess what? I bet he got diarrhea and he shit on the floor and made the whole toilet fully occupied. Didn't he knows where was the hole and where was the bowl? And if it was an accident, couldn't he clean the mess? I had upset stomach and when I went in, I was like "WTF???" and I had to run to other floor. My colleague told me maybe that was a revenge, yeah who likes to pay tax? But honey, its not our fault... not at all. We're just working here, and if you feel unpleasant why don't you complain to the ministry department rather than make us your victim?
It happen not only to my office but many other public places as well. I bet you experience the same problem as I do.
Despite I can't say there is no clean toilet at all. To those good shopping mall as example, we can see good condition toilets. They [the workers] clean the toilet often which keep good smell and clean. But this isn't the matter here.
What I want to say here is our hygiene. If you clean your toilet at home after you use, why not with public toilet? Its your responsible. Yes, you pay but is that mean you have to ruin it for the sake of your 20 cents? Most people will think "Ah... they have workers to clean, so why should I bother?". This is what happen... our attitude.
We need to change this "its-ok" attitude for our own good. Always remember, "what goes around, comes around".

Excessive water consumption
Click on the picture to get a bigger view.
A significant fraction of the human body is water. This body water is distributed in different compartments in the body. Lean muscle tissue contains about 75% water. Blood contains 83% water, body fat contains 25% water and bone has 22% water.
I read this article here. This is the second article I read about excessive water consumption. Before, it was a white man who just came to Malaysia for work purpose and couldn't stand with the hot and humid weather here. So, he drank so much water until he passed out and unfortunately died.
As the doctor says, we need 8 glasses of water. I guess that is really more than enough for our body. It really depends, if let say you don't do anything and just sit, no sweat and no other action that will cause you dehydration then you don't need so much water. But we people always use our brain a lot and move here and there which yes -- we need 8 glasses of water.
When we talk about water, some people might get it wrong. Water here means plain water, sky juice, white water or anything else you'd named it. Some people might think "Oh I drank so much water today... 4 glasses of water and 4 mugs of coffee" and they assume they have drank enough. That is totally wrong! When we say water here, we mean [oh yes I have to repeat again] plain water, sky juice, white water or anything else you'd named it.
Do not forget to drink water every morning as soon as you wake up. This is the best way for natural detoxification -- which is what what we called pass motion.
So guys... please drink enough water!!!

mp3 wireless fm modulator
Today I got my unique gadget. I've ordered this thing few days ago since my colleague wanna go to Pc Deport [well, he was the one intro this gadget to me]. This gadget is cool and I have no idea how it works. Look at the title, yes... fm modulator. Meaning, it uses radio frequency to play your music. You just need to plug in this gadget to the car through cigar plug [yes exactly like you charge your phone in the car]. Then tune the radio frequency to the one not occupied yet. At first I was like "You nut? How is that possible?". Then when I use it, big smile on my face. It's cool when you can put any songs you like in your pen drive and play them on this gadget. The price is cheap -- RM55.00. Not only pen drive, but you can use cd player, dvd player, sd/mmc card [phone memory] and mp3/mp4 player. Right now I'm using RedFox. I listened to songs that I like on my way home just now =)
Cool?

we defeated arsenal
Even tho I'm pretty tired working overtime until 8pm, still I tried my best to be awake and open my eyes wide for the big game tonight. Game between Manchester United vs Arsenal at 11pm Malaysia time. The game that I've been waiting for so long.
The 1st half was boring with draw 0-0 and I was hoping a better game for the 2nd half. I was wrong, the game sucks. I hate to see Brown and Ferdinand in this game. In fact, I'd say this is the worst performance by Manchester United in this season!
For Arsenal side, I don't think it was the best performance either with 6 yellow cards... showed how pressure they were.
Referee was a bit bias I'd say. What was wrong with the penalty kick taken by Ronaldo? And some other harsh tackles on Manchester United's player -- they didn't get free kicks.
And the result went... 2 [Ronaldo and Hargreaves] - 1 [Adebayor]. You can read the whole match report at ESPN.
Thanks Arsenal for the 3 points and we meet next season. Bye~
Fabregas one of the big names in Arsenal who exchanged jersey with Carlos Teves at the end of the game -- threw the jersey on the ground. How disrespectful? Couldn't he be more professional and wiser? This really show how dumb he is. To Arsenal's fan, no offend.

L : Change The World
I've been very busy for this month -- April 2008. Normally I work 5 days a week but not this time. I work 7 days a week, not to mention how long I work in the weekend. But that's life. I can't hardly wait for BPPC to finish and I can have my own time again.
So, movie for this week... L : Change The World. I expected it won't be the best Death Note series and I was right. I prefer the first and second episode better. This episode didn't touch about Death Note much.
Ken'ichi Matsuyama reprises his role as L Lawliet from the previous Death Note films. The film chronicles the final 23 days of L's life, and follows L as he solves one final case. Change The World does continue the plot line established and concluded in the first two movies. Instead, L is the protagonist of this film. Shunji Fujimura also reprises his role as Watari, but, having died in The Last Name, he is killed off early in this film. Despite being depicted on the promotional poster, Misa Amane and the Death God Ryuk have very brief cameos in the film, appearing on screen for less than thirty seconds each. A video still of Light Yagami is also used in the film. The detective for the second season of the anime Near was also revealed at the end of the movie.
Roughly, the story was about virus attack and antidote. So unlike the first and second one, fighting by using the Death Note book... there were some thriller and suspense scenes which did not have in other episodes. I guess Death Note will be like Star Wars which the plot jumps forward and backward. What I don't like about this movie [some other episodes too] is they change a lot compared to Manga. Exactly happen to X-Men. To those who did not read, nothing bother much... but to those who reads it can possibly annoying.
I'd rate this movie 3 out of 5 stars. What do you think? What is your rating?

bean sprout
Bean sprout menu for lunch or dinner seems not delicious at all. Do you know that this infamous been sprout actually has a lot of nutrients? Bean sprout can improve male and female fertility as well. Instead of fertility, it can paralyze cancer and leukemia.
Bean sprout has natural estrogen that works exactly like synthesis estrogen. This estrogen can improve the bones compression and structure. It prevents osteoporosis too.
For women, bean sprout can prevent breast cancer, pre-menopause symptoms or even menopause problems.
Those who have high risk for stroke and heart attack caused by high cholesterol are highly recommended to eat bean sprout everyday. Saponin in bean sprout can reduce LDL fat without interfering HDL fat.
Bean sprout has strong antioxidant which can prevent our body from radical that can harm DNA cell. In other word, it can make you look young.
Another benefit we can get from bean sprout is it cleans our rectum because bean sprout has a lot of fiber and water. This is one of the ways to prevent cancer.
So, let’s eat bean sprout everyday!

icq
This morning, at 3am... I have installed it again with hope that I could see the old ICQ again. But I was wrong. It's exactly like other messenger such as MSN and Yahoo Messenger. I really miss the "cuckoo" sound and the real-time chatting. What I mean with real time chatting is, you can see what I'm typing now including typo and you also can see that I'm erasing it to type the correct one. Isn't that cool? When someone sending you a file, a man's voice will appear "Incoming File" and the message blinks. When the message comes in, audible "cuckoo" sound will appear. Which made me and mom laughed [at this moment, it reminds me of my grandma too... I miss her so much].
Plus, the old ICQ was much simpler and fun [for me at least]. ICQ used to have it's own style which I crave in this new era of messenger. But now, nothing much to compare with other messenger. No more unique ICQ, no more fun. But I will still use it... smiling and remembering the good old days.

Dr M: United Muslim boycott is the way to ‘punish’ Holland [taken from The Star]
KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims can only effectively take action against the Dutch for releasing a film that puts Islam in a bad light if they unite and boycott Dutch products, said former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Dr Mahathir, who is Perkim president, said Muslims were “very annoyed” with the film as it depicted Islam as being violent, adding that “we are very weak and cannot take any action against them”.
The film Fitna, released by Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders, is critical of Islam and uses Quranic verses with a backdrop of images from terrorist attacks, which has angered Muslims.
On possible reaction by the Muslim community, he said if the 1.3 billion Muslims in the world united and boycotted products from Holland, the country’s economy would collapse.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said Malaysia strongly condemns the irresponsible act of airing online the “Fitna” film.
He said the film, that portrays Islam as a religion advocating extremism and violence, is not only misleading and erroneous but also a blatant disregard and utter disrespect for Islam and the sensitiveness of the Muslim world.
Should we ban all Dutch products? Or we just need to make sure that Wilder get the right punishment by law since he's the only person who did this and why should we punish the whole Dutch?
Kindly share your opinion.

angry woman
She yelled, nagged and scolded people around sarcastically which made me very annoyed. I could bear with it if she was not in a good mood and wanted to be left alone. But scolding and nagging to the whole world won't help her, not at all. In fact it's ridiculous and if she goes beyond boundary she will get what she gives in return.
I asked her "Why were you yelling and scolding?". She simply replied "I'm not in a good mood". Honey, we ain't your punching bag which you could punch us at anytime when you feel like it.
So this matter catch my attention. Well, gender isn't the matter in this case. Men do get emotional sometimes [yes we do not have menstrual like some women use as an excuse to scold anyone] but they normally don't mix up personal life and work. What these kind of people need to do is learn how to control their anger -- Anger Management. Yelling, nagging and scolding without reason can be bad and rude, indeed.
What do you think about this?
Does woman get emotional easily than man?
How to control your anger?

wifi
It's RangeBooster G Router by d-link. Easy to set up with simple manual guide. And now I can go online from my room whenever I need to find info for business or anything else. Or maybe something pop-up from my mind about anything useful, funny or important to share with others in blog.
So, my laptop [which I bought on Mac 10, 2008] is perfect now. I used to dream about getting a laptop and wifi connection. Now it's like a dream come true for 2008. If I can get good side income, iPod will be next. If not, keep it for 2009. No need to be hurry.
tax case
Sunday March 30, 2008 [The Star]
Case 1:
You are notified that you have a refund of RM13,000 coming but when the cheque arrives it is only for RM300. When you check with the IRB you are informed that after a re-assessment, only RM300 is owed to you.
Case 2:
You pay the IRB what you owe but when you check your account, your ledger has not been updated and instead your account shows that you still owe the tax office money.
Case 3:
After your self-assessment, your tax returns show no shortage and no excess. Then comes a notice from the IRB, which says that you owe them money.
EVERY March, a taxpayer who only wants to be known as Neil Cho, will duly declare his earnings.
Last year, his diligence paid off when he received a refund within a few months after submitting his returns. However, it was too late to change his opinion of the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).
“I have been paying taxes for more than a decade and the confusion and heartache have gone on too long. They say I have a refund but I am still paying them for what they say I owe. Why couldn’t they have just redirected my refund?” he laments.
It’s that time of the year when taxpayers frantically try to submit their tax returns on time and with the IRB's improved delivery system, the process should be painless.
However, like Cho, there are many taxpayers who still face problems in their dealings with the tax office despite the improvements. Raise the topic of income tax at any gathering and there will be stories forthcoming about frustrations, misinformation and even downright anger because one can be slapped with a huge “bill” out of the blue despite paying one's taxes diligently.
A common complaint among taxpayers is that the IRB does not give them a true picture of their status, or that they are hit with a payment demand without prior notice, even when they declare their income returns regularly.
The delivery system is not perfect yet, admits IRB chief executive officer and director-general Datuk Hasmah Abdullah who spearheaded the revamps after taking office in 2006.
“We are committed to taking the improved delivery system to the next level. The fact that we have fine-tuned our system at least three times in the last decade is testimony to this but we have encountered a number of these so called discrepancies,” she says, adding that the tax office realises that sometimes a taxpayer may be told different status reports at the counter.
“This is because at the time when the taxpayer called at the counter, the debit or credit balance given to him was based on the ledger at that point in time. Subsequently in processing the refund, our audit officers may find that additional arrears have already been raised or adjustments have already been made. That is why in the end, their assessments may turn out to be different and they will not get a refund,” she explains.
One reason, Hasmah tells, is that employers pay bonuses for a particular year in the following year or on a staggered basis. Another reason, she adds, is that there are employers who do not make deductions based on the Schedular Tax Deduction table provided by the IRB.
But, says Hasmah, more often than not, the discrepancies are due to errors in the claim for relief or deduction made by the taxpayers.
“This usually ends up as lesser refunds. So, I would like to advise taxpayers to check their receipts when making claims for reliefs such as medical for self and wife/husband, purchase of books and others to ensure actual expenses are claimed except when they exceeded the maximum allowed. We want to give refunds to taxpayers but not at the expense of unsubstantiated claims for relief,” she adds, acceding the fact that the board is not doing enough to explain such matters to the public.
But surely this does not explain a discrepancy that is huge. How can a check at the IRB counter show a refund of RM30,000 when the final tally shows that the taxpayer owes RM300 instead?
When there is a discrepancy, the tax person will check out the ledger to explain why there is a difference in the account. However, as Hasmah puts it, the ledger is too complex for the average taxpayer to understand: “Our ledger is not as straightforward as the bank or EPF; we can print out the ledger and give it to the taxpayer but they won’t be able to read it.”
This is an area that the IRB is working to improve by developing and upgrading their accounting system, she adds.
“We take note that they need to be advised on the discrepancies upon refund to avoid confusion to the taxpayers.
“Hence, we are simplifying the ledger specifically for taxpayers. We are also working with the IT people to enable taxpayers to check their status online. It should be ready by the end of the year.”
Better service
Some good news for taxpayers is that the IRB is clearing refunds faster due to the improvements made to their system.
This was evident last year as the record shows that the IRB cleared 392,457 refund cases totalling RM5.3bil, an increase of 113.6% over the previous year's figures (183,731 in 2006).
According to Hasmah, this comes up to only 80% of all refunds.
“Although we cleared refunds much faster in 2007 than in previous years, we still did not achieve the time frame for all cases because we were clearing the current year together with the previous years’ backlog right to the end of the year.
“About 20% of the returns were also found incorrectly filed because of doubtful claims for relief and other deductions. The cases will have to be audited before we can make the refund,” she says.
Another improvement is the e-filing system, which has been extended to include tax agents to enable them to e-file on behalf of their clients using the IRB's newly developed e-filing software.
More than one million taxpayers are expected to file their income tax returns using the e-filing system this year. Since the launch of the service two years ago, the number of income tax returns received through e-filing has increased by 369%, says Hasmah.
“Last year was encouraging; a total of 874,814 taxpayers e-filed their tax returns compared with 186,343 in 2006.”
The IRB has introduced another new feature in the service, the Roaming Public Key Infrastructure, which enables taxpayers to file their income tax returns from any computer without the need to repeatedly download the digital certificate.
Hasmah gives the assurance that the system has adequate security features to protect the confidentiality of taxpayers' information.
More importantly, stresses Hasmah, the public should file their income tax returns early for faster processing of tax refunds.
In the past, she says, between 60% and 70% of taxpayers filed their forms at the last minute, causing a delay in the processing time.
“We seriously seek the cooperation of the public to file their returns early or well before the dateline of April 30 (for non-business income) and June 30 (for business income). The last-minute filing creates a volume that stretches our processing time beyond the 30-day deadline for e-filing and the three-month limit for those who submit them manually.”
Hasmah hopes this year will show a difference with taxpayers encouraged by the news of early refunds through e-filing, to submit their returns earlier.
To assist taxpayers e-File their 2007 tax returns, the IRB is again holding its taxpayers’ service month until June 30. In conjunction with the taxpayers' service month, more than 100 public counters have been opened at shopping complexes and workplaces.
***
My advise : Tax payer should submit form and pay tax earlier than the due date to avoid jam.
