election fever

The heat is getting hotter. Are we ready? I found this link [click HERE] from Marina Mahathir’s blog. So, guys… I hope you enjoy the link. Doesn’t matter you’re into politic or not, you must vote! =)

It’s pretty pathetic to read newspapers these days especially at this moment that we called “Election Fever”. Newspapers and TV has been monopolized by… oh of course BN. When did this “special” advertisement in all newspaper started? Ah come on, it’s more than enough to advertise on TV and it’s pretty too much to spoil a newspaper. It’s seems like one-side war. Ok, fine… you want to put advertisement regarding politic? Please leave some spaces for Opposition party. Ah! How I wish?

P/s: Don’t say that I’ve been influenced by Marina. I don’t support any party and to be exact I'm neutral. There’re some things I don’t agree with BN and also with Opposition.

bragging

Ok coffee on the table. I've few things to write about this time. So, you can read and see what I'm gonna tell and show you. Some of it I will just leave no comment about it and you to decide. As freedom of speech never really implement in our belove country -- Malaysia.

Indonesia vs Malaysia

At this topic, I'm still confuse actually. Confuse about what is happening, and why there's no action or news about it? Why should this incident kept hidden from Malaysian? I just don't get it. I think Malaysian should wake up and open your eyes big, yes really big to see what is happening around us. Not just people in our country but the "neighbors". Either rumors or fact, things between Malaysia and Singapore or Malaysia and Indonesia seem don't blend well. To prove that, here are some pictures :

What do you think? Still buying their cd and never miss their live concert? Re-think.

Pak Lah with CNN
I found Pak Lah with CNN video at youtube. Here is the video:

Any comment? Ah ok, now it's Election Fever =) March 8, here we count! My cousin Mansor has been dropped out from the list. Politic!

Man Utd wins against New Castle
Ah again we win! Lol. Nothing much to say but Keagan, you're screwed with Ferguson again. Since 90's? Oh man, you should wake up with your few old tactics. If I were you, I follow what Erikson said. So, it was away game for us and we defeated them by 5-1. For more info about the game click HERE or HERE. Ok, I wanna share some pictures that has been taken from BPL official web. Enjoy!

Teens Nowadays!

I have no idea about teens nowadays. They are proud to fight and win rather than study and win. What's your main purpose of going to school? Studying! That's it. Full stop. You go to school learn new things, new lesson, new subjects, get friends, be successful. Nothing more, nothing less. But this is what happen :

No wonder factories never worry of no worker problem!

Rapist punishment
I got this picture via email from my colleague. What caught my attention was they cut his dick! I think this punishment should be implemented in Malaysia since rape case has increase each day. By doing this so called "cruel" punishment, I'm sure the rape case will decrease drastically. Why do you think it's cruel when destroying other's future and dignity are crueler.

Poppers
Recently, I've read some articles about poppers. What is weird bout this drug is it's legal at many countries and hardly found any side effect [oh ok wikipedia writes some effects : There has also been a suggestion that poppers may weaken the immune system, however any damage is undone within a few days of halting use.[28] Other risks include rashes around the mouth and nose, burns if spilt on skin, loss of consciousness, and headaches.[1][29]<-- Look at the red sentence. Hmm]. Any comment about this?

Time for some fun
Are you good in balancing the ball with your legs, shoulder, head and forehead? Well, try this!

Sexy ads
I laughed out loud when watching this video. I tried to upload the fighting student video in Youtube but couldn't. It's against the rule of violation. Alrite, I got other solution luckily! But anyway, do enjoy this video ok?

real estate seminar

This morning I attended a real estate seminar held at Vistana Hotel by AssetFirst. It started at 11am. Around 10.30am I fetched Joseph [he was the one told me about this seminar] and straight drove there. Reached there, around 20 peoples were there. Breakfast was provided but I didn’t know. Lol. Nevermind I ate bread and butter earlier.

Around 11.15am the seminar started [ah any Asian ever punctual?]. It was a great start with a hand-full of soil and little green plant. Yes, it’s abstract which you could assume about real estate investment.

Now, I understand how it works for one person to own so many houses. Your name won’t be written on the S&P but the TRUSTEE. So, it’s like you and some other thousands people invest on 1 property which give you opportunity to buy more properties. They have a system and I bet some other groups have started this earlier. The more you invest the more nett profit you gain. They have few schemes and you have options depending on your budget.

The thing is I've bought a house and to let it go is like to throw RM1,200.00 to the rubbish bin. Yes, I have paid the S&P and the booking. I’ll surely join but not at this very short time. For some reasons I've some plans to get done too. Now as you can see, everything is about money. Some says “No money, no talk”?

For those who are interested in property investment you can click HERE.

jumper

I went to watch Jumper just now at 9.15pm show. I expected the quality as good as Matrix. I’d say different category but still something that I would love to watch. The cinema was full-house and bad thing was I sat at 3rd row on right side. Can you imagine? Yes, correct. It was sucks! Luckily the movie wasn’t boring at all.

It started with a boy who liked a girl when he was at the high school. He tried to get closer to her but he was too shy. One day, when the girl was waiting for the bus to go home from school this boy went and met her. He gave her a snow glass bead. Came a naughty boy and took the bead and threw it away [it happen the bead dropped on the river which was frozen, oh ok I didn’t mention about winter… it was winter!]. He was upset and tried to get it back. Everybody was panic since it was so dangerous to walk on the ice which was a river like that. He kept walking and got the ball. As he turned and said “See… its ok.” The ice broke into pieces and he sank. He couldn’t get himself out of the cold water below the ice and that was how he knows that he could teleport! Everybody thought he died. The story just begun….

I won’t spoil the movie by telling you guys the whole story. I could say it’s a worth watching movie if you like actions [those who always critic regarding common sense bla bla bla, please… don’t watch!]. If you want to see the official website click HERE and for more info click HERE.

kindergarten discussion

*Yawn* Woke up at 9am. I looked at my bloody mouse that wasn’t working anymore. Played with niece and watching tv. Went out around 12pm and drove straight to petrol station nearby [Caltex]. Swipe my credit card -- failed. Urgh! I tried another card, same result. Fine… drove to another petrol station at Relau [Shell]. I swipe the same credit card but this time it could be used. Weird? As the matter of fact, I only like Shell for some reasons.

Drove to fetch Nadia at Pulau Tikus. We went to Prangin Mall. Searched for mouse and after went in few shops, I bought a ladybird [kind of bug] shape -- RM29.00. Yesh! I can go online later. Lol.

Then we searched for Heroes dvd that I've been craving for ages. Season 1 for RM30.00 and Season 2 for RM14.00 [not yet complete for Season 2]. I decided not to buy. Why? This was how the phone conversation went:

Faisal : Oi Amir! Asal dvd Season 1 RM30.00? Ko cakap RM15.00 je?

Amir : Ko tengok dekat mana?

Faisal : Prangin Mall

Amir : Ah! Takyah ar. Batu Feringghi lagi murah beb!

Faisal : Ah! Sedih betol. Nanti ko pegi sana belikan untuk aku lah.

Amir : Ok.

Hmm, it was lunch time. We had few choices.

  1. Mc Donalds

Nadia : Ah! Dan… Mc D boring lah

Me : Ok.

  1. Steamboat

Me : Nad, is it halal?

Nadia : Er, I don’t think so *laff*

  1. Sushi King

Both : Ok!

Cold green tea for both. Nad ordered chicken set [don’t know what they called it] and me with “All Fry” [tempura set – fish, prawn, sweet potato, brinjal, vege together, egg pudding and seaweed soup]. Also I took a plate of deep fried prawn sushi with sashimi. Burp! I was damn full.

Ok. We need a walk. We went to Popular Bookstore since Nadia wanted to buy some books [she teaches a tuition class] and I wanted to show her some Azizi Ali’s books. I found some interesting book in finance and blogging but forget it. No budget. Next time maybe…

We went to Starbucks. Nadia with Frappucino Caramel and me with plain Cappucino. We discussed about kindergarten. She showed me all documents that she brought regarding kindergarten which we plan to open.

Drove home around 7pm. I really hope that we will have a successful business. Insyaallah…

cousin's son

I had a wedding that I should attend today but I couldn’t make it. My cousin got a baby. It’s a baby boy! He told me last time that he really hope it’s a boy. Actually for me it doesn’t matter, the important thing to me is the baby is safe and in good condition. His name is Mohd Affiq.

Around 6.40pm I rushed back home. Why? I have Ragnarok war at 7pm! You know what? When I reached home the mouse wasn’t working! Argh! *tension mode* I just ate dinner and took nap before go for soccer match with colleague. *faint*

rempit

Early this morning [Sunday morning 17/2/2008] when I was on my way home [roughly around 3am], the road at Jalan Tengah was crowded. I thought it was an accident but I was wrong! The crowd was Rempit [those who doesn’t understand what is Rempit – its illegal races]. Urgh! They blocked the whole road even at the traffic light junction! It was very annoying. I felt sorry at the same time. Those teens should be at home sleeping, studying or watching tv. Wheres their parent? Could sleep soundly when your son wasn’t asleep at home? Police should be stricter. Punishment should be heavier and the license should be taken back!

soccer : fa result

We went to Pelita [Jalan Tengah] as promised. When we reached there, we found out the screen was very blur and we decided to watch the small tv inside [the big screen was outside]. You won’t believe this, when the clock showed at 1am all in sudden the whole area blackout! How unfortunate? Then I walked out of the restaurant and looked around the building. I saw some lights at the other corner. Hoping that there are some restaurants with electricity, I called one of my friends in the restaurant.

Me : Firdaus, jom tengok kedai hujung sana nak? Firdaus : Aku rasa whole area ni. Me : Jom la tengok… kot-kot nasib baik. Firdaus : Ok.

So we walked to that other corner. Sad news, same result – blackout!

Me : Damn lah! Suey betol! Firdaus : Kan aku dah cakap… degil. Me : Macam mana ni? Firdaus : Jom tengok di rumah aku la. Ada plasma tv. Me : Tengok di kedai boleh makan dan minum. Firdaus : Kayu jom? Me : Ok. Jom bagitau geng.

Then we drove to Kayu. It was full but we managed to get tables. It was at the first row and too front. Ah! Ok no complain. Better than nothing right? I ordered a glass of Nescafe O’ Ais and concentrated on the game.

“We won!” that’s what I could say to Arsenal Fan out there. The game was full of goals and nothing much but to see how we control the game. 100% in Man Utd’s possession I would say. We won by 4-0. Scores -- 2 goals by Fletcher, 1 by Rooney and 1 by Nani.

Thanks to colleague that involved for this match.

Arsenal :
1. Khushairi
2. Rizal
3. Kamarul
4. Firdaus

Man Utd :
1. Me
2. Amin
3. Mat (Firdaus mate)

Not to forget Hamirat [neutral]. He isn’t soccer fan tho =)

fa cup : man utd vs arsenal

Tomorrow will be a big battle between Man Utd and Arsenal for FA Cup clash. As some of the main Arsenal players has been listed in injury list, supposedly Man Utd could win this easy task. Anyhow, pressure is on Man Utd side since they are struggling hard in BPL. Not to say they can't win BPL but the stress is still there since there is 12 games left! But I trust in what Fergie said... "It will be a tight end.. but we will win the title". I'll be watching this FA big clash at Pelita Sungai Dua, Penang with some of my colleague [both fans] -- not to mention our Asst. Director will be joining [he's on Man Utd side tho, lol].

Glory Man Utd!

differences between butter and margarine

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed
the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings.

DO YOU KNOW...the difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end...gets very interesting! Both have the same amount of calories.

Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5
grams. Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating
the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other
foods. Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years.

And now, for Margarine. Very high in Trans fatty acids. Triple risk of coronary heart disease.

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and
lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol). Increases the risk of cancers up to five fold.

Lowers quality of breast milk. Decreases immune response. Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact.... HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY
INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC. This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

You can try this yourself:

Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area.

Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things:

*no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

*it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional
value; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weenie microorganisms will not find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic. Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

internet cafe

Feel like just started with this Internet Cafe business. Believe it or not, I've invested 5 computers at my aunt's internet cafe. RM2.4k for each computer include with games and license. Don't bother with the price but the nett profit I got monthly is RM1.5k! Awesome income eh?

My next plan is to find bigger place for my aunt or maybe open another branch. Internet cafe business really give me a handsome profit. So, why not go further?

I need good income like RM10k monthly -- preparation for petrol station business!

God bless!

great vacation

Urgh, I’ve been away from my computer for so long. Last Wednesday was the last time I used computer surfing net, forums and blogs. Then on Thursday morning I shut down. This morning, I turn it on and something weird happen. Darn! Windows changed to ice age mode -- Yeah, old classic mode. It doesn’t really matter if just the mode changed but I couldn’t connect to the internet. Now, it’s beyond my temper! Now, I'm running my stupid 2 anti virus -- Avast and Mech5. I do miss my Kasperky 6. I’ll ask from Bob Annes as soon as I could get online.

Ok, back to the topic… my great vacation in 2008. I didn’t expect it'd be a great vacation since I've been to Muar and also Malacca. I watched a program on TV called 360 degrees and it attracted my eyes regarding Morten Village -- it’s about Portuguese village full of culture, foods and life style which I like to know and interesting. So, ok… and the journey begun… [Remember we drove 2 cars]

7/2/2008 - Thursday morning, we woke up early. As early as we get up to work! Haha. I don’t mind… really. We moved around 8am. We stopped for late breakfast at Sungai Perak. It was almost noon, so we ate like 2 in 1 meal. We chose rice. What special about this Rest and Refreshment [R&R] stop? Hehe we could find 2 restaurants selling Ikan Patin. What is it? It’s a river fish. I didn’t like it that much, lol. Enough to say that I'm happy that I tried it once! Experience tells… =P

The journey was long and when we almost reach Malacca, the bad traffic started which annoyed me a lot! Imagine… we reached Malacca around 5.30pm! Scroll up and read what time we started journey. Reached there I ran to bed and take a nap. Around 8pm, mom woke me up. Parent and I drove to Muar to fetch my aunt. 2 hours drive to get there. So, go and back took us 4 hours. Aunt took us dinner at Muar. Nurul, Dayah, Hadi and Sharol didn’t go to Muar since Sharol was tired and fell asleep soundly. They ate dinner around the hotel then. I reached hotel around 2am, shower and food and slept around 3am!

8/2/2008 - Next day, woke up a little late… around 9am. Parent and aunt bought breakfast. So, I didn’t need to hurry for breakfast. We got ready as slow as snail and drove to town for Asam Pedas Melaka. Aunt took us to one of the best. But we were shock with the price though -- 2 Jenahak fish head curry [half only for each], 8 pieces of chicken, few slices of squids, white rice for 9 plates, some Cucur Udang and vegetables cost about RM96.00. Ouch! Then, we drove to find Morten Village [scroll up and read what it’s about]. 2 rounds in the jam city was really pain in the ass. We couldn’t find it and changed plan go to the seaside and eat mix fruit rojak. When we were driving to the hotel, friend told me Morten Village moved to another part of Malacca. Gees! As soon as we reach hotel, everybody were tired and took a rest. Nothing special at night but boring dinner that sisters and bro in law bought. Right after 12, mom was the 1st person wish me birthday when I went out of the shower followed by my aunt and daddy.

9/2/2008 – I got many sms and calls from friends and relatives regarding my birthday and yes kind of disappointed with some friends that didn’t even remember my birthday. Especially those who are close to me and I never miss their birthday. Nevermind… life never fair… =) We planned to go to hottest place in Malacca now call Famosa Resort. It has 3 nice spots like Water Theme Park, Safari and Cowboy Town. Since we don’t want to waste time in the water theme park [yes we don’t have enough time], we just simply chose safari. Never a wrong choice though, it was so cool! We had great time together with whole family. It has been so long we went for vacation together. We left safari around 7pm and drove to Muar. Yes, we had book tables at Pelangi Hotel restaurant. As soon as we reached our hotel [Muar Traders Center], we showered and got ready. We were late! Kak Ana, Jojie and nenek joined the dinner too. Haha! It was my birthday celebration. Yes no cake, but great foods. I ate some prawns and lovely bean curds. Burp! Was so full haha!

10/2/2008 – We suppose to go back today but we were all exhausted. So after we discussed, the result was we stay for 1 more night. We ate some puff at Secret Recipe and lunch at the place aunt took us on the 1st day we fetched her. It was the same menu -- Asam Pedas hehe my favourite. We went to Tomyam restaurant for dinner. One of the best in town -- that was what my aunt told me haha! But the foods were awesome, really. Oh yea, also… bad news on that night, Man Utd lose to Man City by 2-1. No mood to elaborate!

11/2/2008 – We got free breakfast. Buffet at the hotel. Yay~! This was the best part… the foods there were delicious. It was a fun breakfast full with laugh and joy. We packed and checked out at 1pm. We drove to my aunt place and ate lunch there. Then played Counter Strike at our cc. Hehe… first time I used my own pc that I put there for playing games. Thanks aunt for giving me opportunity involve in this cc biz. Around 4pm, we drove back to Penang. We reached home around 3am. Duh! I was so tired but it was a great start of 2008!

free hug

I got this video from a friend through email. I think this video is sweet and very meaningful. Wish I could give free hug to everybody too... give you a peace of mind and happy feeling. Enjoy the video...

sunday

Ah ok, I write again. Just wake up *yawn*. Wanna share some pictures with you. Ok first this is my niece, latest.

This is Patrick, if you know Sponge Bob then you have an idea about what it is. How cute?

I should have met my friend Nadia for kindergarten discussion. I was so busy these few days and Sunday is the only day left for me to rest. Next week I'll be going to southern of Malaysia, yes.. vacation with my beloved family. I'll meet her week after then. This should be my next business. God bless!

Today I have a sad news which kinda make me shock. A friend of mine who I just met few days ago, is sick. I mean very sick. Brain cancer... yes so sad to hear. Doctor gave her 6 months and believe it or not she has 2 months left. I feel so sad and I won't reveal her identity till her last breath. She is strong and happy. God, please give her more time =(

Quote of the day : "When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better"

Special thanks : Thanks mama [my aunt in Muar] for sharing your RM5 credit to my cell. Hehe officially using prepaid starting 31st January 2008.

1st saturday in february

It was a very tired day. I was awake by I didn't know what at 6am. Then I couldn't sleep. So, to avoid being late for meeting my jersey customer I chose not to lay in bed. So I came in front of pc and checking email, disturb some friends on ym and msn, forum-ing, sms-ing etc. Yes, I was still blur and sleepy *yawn*. Shower at 9am, and 10am sharp went out to pass the jersey to her at Bayan Baru. Then came back home, mom wanted me to buy some coconut milk and rice. Ah, ok... went out again. Bike wasn't in good condition -- tyre punctured. Ok ok, car again... big and hard to park in this er... we called it village? Perhaps, still rural tho. Then reach home, whole family wanna go out. Yeah, we went to workshop first, as I need to fix my silly boot. Cost me RM260. Ouch! Since Dec 2007 until now I've to pay RM1k just to repair my 7 years old car. Whatever... my cash flow didn't sound so good these few months. Yeah, buying house... start business. All start with capital, big one... money. After the car fixed, we went to food stalls behind the old Penang soccer stadium. Ate Mee Kuah there. Then, family wanna go to Tesco buying some groceries. I was half fainted. I didn't know why, my body lately exhausted and dehydrated. So, I chose to stay in the car and read my book that I just bought about Landlord by Azizi Ali. Ah, ok they took hours... and you know I couldn't leave my car on like that without moving. It was hot [asia is humid? hell with that!]. I kept switch my car on and off and kept bothering them by sms-ing my sister provoked them to make it faster. Ok, we haven't bought the KFC whipped potato for niece and time was almost 6.20pm. Drove to Sunshine Square for KFC. Reached home around 6.40pm. Then I joined WoE. What is WoE? It's war of emperium, refer to my old post and if you still have no idea what it is about kindly surf google. Thanks! War was clumsy and it was my 2nd time playing High Priest. Start to like High Priest tho.

War finished at 9pm and I ate some fried rice that we bought earlier on. When and where? The place we ate Mee Kuah lah! Lol. Then, watching tv with mom and sis. 11pm, soccer -- Spurs vs Man Utd. Bad game. Why? Almost lose and it ended with a draw. Damn it! Then I came to pc just to bitch about soccer and ragnarok, Zoid aka Azmi pm me via ym "Dude! Let's MVP!!!" Haha. It was about 3am. I joined them since the id that I reloaded still got credit. It was fun tho. Long time I didn't have a good time MVP like this. It was loooonggg time ago. MVP was one thing and playing High Priest MVP-ing is another thing huhu.

Finished around 5am, posted some screenshots and ran to bed. Too sleepy already.

Ah ok, enuff about yesterday. Why I write this today? I'm tired and bored. o.O

happy chinese new year 2008

Happy Chinese New Year...

movie, popcorn & book

I went for a movie "Cloverfield", plan to watch the 9pm show but all in sudden around my place was jam! Very bad traffic. Ah, Penang.. what do you expect? So, when we reached there it was late -- the movie has been played for 10 minutes. Since I read the preview it's a good movie, I choose to skip this one and watch the next show [last show for Friday actually] which is at 11pm!

Darn... hours to kill! So, I play with my mobile sms-ing some friends about games and my new silly prepaid provider. Oh yea, I changed my postpaid to prepaid -- mad at the provider for two reasons : I paid for what I didn't use and I'm as the old user, use this postpaid for ages but no special rewards or offers at all which you can get many rewards with prepaid, so why should I stick to postpaid? You tell me.

Then... still long way to go, and I decided to go to Borders [yes a bookstore]. I looked around for Napoleon Hill's book [yes you right, business book] introduced by my friend. Yes, good concept but I don't really prefer self-help book which I already have few. So, I found the book I needed the most from Azizi Ali -- Property Landlord [I've read almost all his books and handbook, the last one was Property Millionaire -- did you read my whole blog? if not, forget it]. End up I bought, lol. It's worth it tho. I read his handbook while killing the time and when they closed at 10.30pm I only have 30 minutes to kill then.

Walked slowly to the cinema at 3rd floor and buy some popcorn [with cute box] and a giant soft drink [special promotion, you buy large with the same price for medium].

Then we walked in... when the movie finished, I felt like vomiting. It was a good movie but I couldn't stand with the motion... it was like you watching back a video you recorded via your own handycam and you were moving and running! Slept in dizziness... haha!

Adios.

Tamparuli Bridge (Tuaran, Sabah)

Tamparuli is a small town and a sub-district of Tuaran on the west coast of Sabah, Malaysia. It is populated mainly by native Dusuns, while ...
