Pencil: I'm sorry....
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil:
I'm sorry cos you get hurt bcos of me.
Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it.
But as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself.
You get smaller and smaller each time.
Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind.
You see, I was made to do this.
I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong.
Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one,
I'm actually happy with my job.
So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad. :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational.
Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil.
They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes.
Sometimes along the way... they get hurt, and become smaller (older, and eventually pass on).
Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.
This is for all parents out there.....
Always love your parents like there's no tomorrow because they can't be with us forever...

How true?
How true is the death when you do not know the existence is true?
But, I’m glad that they have retreated. Less innocent people will be sacrificed.
What we can do now is to pray that there is no WAR in the future.
No C4 will be used in the future.
No greed for OIL.
GOD BLESS!
Move on.
After talking at dining table eating bihun sup with family, I kept thinking about something related to the conversation.
Now, in my bed holding my iPhone; I want to write something that ran in my mind when I was at the dining table.
Yes, as you can see as the post title: Move on.
I got some friends who have problem to move on. In fact, I faced this problem too before. Whether you like it or not, you must do it when the time comes.
What I'm talking about is of course about relationship.
Most people keep grudge against the one they used to love or maybe still loving. That is the root of problem.
When they have grudge, they are tend to take revenge against the one they love or worse to the new lover too.
Why?
If you love someone, you should not have grudge against him/her. You should feel happy for him/her as he/she found the happiness.
You should believe in fate that it's written that way and there must be a reason why God has decided that way. Think positive.
Move on.
Yes, that's the key word.
Open your heart to accept someone new and for sure you will find some who truly love you.
Be friend if it gives no harm and don't be his/her enemy if friendship is not a good idea.
Love is in the air. So, be a good human being and have some faith. Do remember: What you do, you will get it back in return.
Peace!

Happy Labour Day
Happy Labour Day to all of you workers! :-)
It’s cool to know that we are appreciated by our country even though some of us are unlucky enough to be appreciated by our own boss.
So, rest as much as you want today (oh yeah, tomorrow too…) and do not think about your problem at work.

Friendship.
I have learned many things regarding friendship. I’d like to share some scenarios with you and yes, it is still about friendship.
Scenario A
The person who I think my best friend but then always busy with work and lover. Call me when needed and meet me when the lover is not around. I mean, most of the time. It was not like this before. Time can change everything. Now, I believe.
Scenario B
The person who I knew since I was in college and always feel insecure. Insecure about someday I will be kidnapped by other friends and abandon him/her. Took wrong option by badmouthing about what I’m doing and my relationship with another friend which force me to make a decision –- stay away.
Scenario C
The person who I knew pretty long time but he/she is emotional imbalance. Used to be worse but getting better. Feels insecure about friends around will get new friend and he/she will lose them. Make small problems bigger and explode (throw tantrum) to everybody.
Scenario D
The person who looks strict and serious which make me think he/she is firm. But I am wrong. He/she is emotional imbalance and could react without rational. Too bad friendship for him/her is like an airport you just come and go with emotion.
Scenario E
The person who is lack of confidence. Always create stories about relationship. Dream about things that hardly can be achieved. I know, if you want to dream, dream big. But please do not be too impossible.
Scenario F
The person always take advantage on me. Gives me empty promises and selfish. You got me once but not twice.
Scenario G
The person is very understanding and easy going. Always happy and do tolerate most of the time. Not selfish and very helpful. I guess this is the one everyone is seeking? All the best.
… and the list goes on.
What do you think about friendship? Share with me your opinion.

( gambar Abang Zamri, senyum tanda terima kasih )
Semasa perjalan pulang, ustaz waqar sempat menyambung ceritanya tadi.

I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.
When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly.
Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.
She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to a lovely girl called Dew. I didn’t love her anymore.I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly.
Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release.
The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now. The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's
notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a months time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.
This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door every morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Dew about my wife s divorce conditions. She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully. My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of
her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realised she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was greying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily. Suddenly it hit me. She had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart.
Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time
to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly, it was just like our wedding day.
But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.
I drove to office... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind... I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore. She looked at me, astonished. Then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I wouldn't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other any more. Now I realise that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.
At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote; I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.
The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank, blah..blah..blah. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage! If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you, but if you do, you just might save a marriage.

Pas apologises for religious pupil's death
KANGAR: Perlis PAS today apologised to all Malaysians over a seven-year-old pupil's death two days after he was allegedly severely punished by an ustaz (religious teacher) at the party-run Sekolah Rendah Islam Al Furqanm in Jejawi, near here.
State PAS commissioner Hashim Jasin said the party also wished to apologise to all teachers over the tragic incident which had tarnished the image and public perception of teachers.
Saiful Syazani Saiful Sopfidee died at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar last Sunday after he was believed to have been assaulted by the ustaz, who was also the school hostel's warden, on Thursday during an investigation into a theft case.
"The incident is shocking to us after having been running the school for 25 years now," said Hashim after attending the state assembly sitting, here, today.
Hashim, who is also Sanglang assemblyman, said Perlis PAS hoped for a thorough investigation into the case in seeking justice for all concerned.
The chairman of the school's Board of Governors, Rus'sele Eizan, said they had taken appropriate measures to ensure that all the learning institutions owned by the party (PAS) were smoothly run and safe for everyone.
Meanwhile, Arau Umno division chief and former Perlis menteri besar Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim hoped that all religious schools appoint only eligible teachers to ensure that such an incident would not recur.
"All the teachers hired must go through proper teacher training even though they are academically highly qualified," he said.

Daughter
You might get frustrated.
Life rambling
I felt my head was heavy.
My head was full of what-to-do next with my work and what-to-read for exam.
*it was dark*
Now, it’s 2pm.
Oh, I fell asleep. Maybe I was too full. Fried rice with egg and fried chicken by Thaya for his marriage and Nasi Minyak Merican by Azali. Burp!
I’m still struggling with this new job description. Everything seems vague. I’m not ready for my final exam which is just around the corner. I wish I could see it.

MAKSAK 2011
I had registered last week to join this competition.
Reason: To gain experience.
Some people might say, “Ah, there is no improvement, better not joining!”
But for me, who cares?
… It is better than keep defeating the same opponent which are your colleagues.
Ok, that’s worse.
Back to the topic.
It was my second time joining MAKSAK. The joined for the first time in 2004. LOL. So long time ago when I was very young.
I gave myself a try this year.
Again, we are lack of preparation and we lose again :(
It was sad but I have to accept it as part of the experience.
The boring part is, why in all competitions in Penang I see the same face? Grr!
Full with state player crap. LOL. Who cares?
I will ignore badminton until end of April to focus on my final exam :)
Good bye badminton for the time being.

Earthquake & Tsunami hit Japan in 2011.
It happened again.
Earthquake and tsunami hit Japan again this year in 2011.
I’ve subscribed CNN on my iPhone and it’s very sad to get the latest news on how many people have died in this tragedy.
I hope Japan will be strong to handle this and my condolence to the victim’s families.

… and this is VERY STUPID.
It’s not funny at all and I’m speechless with those heartless and stupid peoples who think a tragedy that had killed so many peoples is a JOKE.
Shame on you!

Beanieplex
MOVIEGOERS in Penang can consider themselves the envy of the rest of the nation as the country’s first Beanieplex has opened in the state.
The Beanieplex, situated in TGV Cinemas’ new multiplex at 1st Avenue Mall in George Town, features funky beanbag seats. It can accommodate 40 patrons.
“Space is a premium, with legroom of 2m, allowing customers to be at full recline,” said TGV Cinemas Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Kenny Wong.
Wong said tickets for the Beanieplex seats were currently sold at an introductory price of RM26 per pair.
He had earlier, together with 1st Avenue Mall Sdn Bhd director Datuk Sonny Ho, opened the TGV multiplex in the mall which is the company’s 16th outlet in the country.
Nice and cosy: Members of the media and guests watching a movie while relaxing on the beanbags.
The multiplex has eight movie halls, including the Beanieplex, with a total seating capa-city of 1,310.
“The TGV 1st Avenue is our first outlet on Penang island and we are delighted to bring the moviegoing experience in the island to greater heights with the Beanieplex concept,” he said.
“Beanieplex patrons can snuggle comfortably into the soft, cushy beanbag seats that come in pairs, for a cosy and relaxed viewing experience,” Wong said.
On why Penang was chosen to be the first to feature the Beanieplex concept, he said Penangites were known to be prudent and wise consumers.
“If the concept works here, chances are it will work anywhere,” said Wong who is also a Penangite.
He said that response had been phenomenal since the soft launch of the Beaniplex two weeks ago.
“This is very encouraging and more Beanieplex halls will now be considered for other locations as well,” he said.
“From the extensive research we con- ducted, comfort is a big priority for our patrons and we strive to meet their needs at TGV Cinemas,” he added.
Wong said TGV planned to open another outlet on Penang island next year.

Note: I’ve tried it and it was so comfy! My first try was Burlesque. Awesome movie, great beanseat. Next? Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa!

A Thousand Splendid Suns
I have read this book which was given by my best friend (Ajil) and ex-collage friend (Noorjan). Yes, they have the same taste I guess and that’s why I got 2 same books on my birthday (Kite Runner this year?)
I seldom read this kind of book which most of the time I will be reading a science-fiction ones. So, it’s cool to give a try on it.
When I just read few pages, I found the book not so interesting which it slowed me down. You won’t believe that I finish another book in the toilet because most of the time when I was not on the toilet will be occupied with completing my assignments. Yes, some of my friends claimed that it was just an excuse for me not joining them hang out at café or restaurant but seriously mate, the assignments really killing me and until today, I still got 2 assignments that needed my attention.
The story is about Afghan people; their culture, belief and life. The author knows how to blend them together and makes it interesting to read.
I do not think it’s cool to write the whole story in here but I’d suggest you to get a copy and finish it. Pay attention on Mariam and Laila the most.
Seriously, I do not like the ending for Mariam.

I’m getting old.
Oh shit! It is hard to believe that I could say this, out.
Busy, busy, busy and busy is an excuse for me when I forgot things like birthday, route or even names and numbers.
Today I’m so frustrated with myself when I forgot to take my rackets (yes, TWO rackets) that I sent to my favourite sport shop Add One (Ah Yam is the owner and well known) last week. I suppose to take it on Monday but since I did not play on Monday because I was too exhausted, so I plan to take it on Wednesday before badminton. Too bad, I fell asleep as soon as I reached home. I fell asleep a few time when I drove home especially when I stuck in the traffic jam. I hate traffic jam and I really have no idea when there are so many places pack like sardines in the can. Weird thing is, it becomes worse when the traffic police replace the traffic lights. Suppose it works otherwise, right? Sigh.
I woke up it was almost 8 and I rushed to eat dinner and take shower. Then, I realized that there was no racket in the bag.
There are many reasons why I can forgot things easily.
1. I’m very stress lately with works and the bad result from the exam.
2. … or I’m getting old?
The latter one sounds lame, I know.
So, today I have wasted my overtime because I went home early and clumsily ate dinner and took shower. End up, I could not go for badminton. Great!

My Birthday
It was my birthday on February 9.
I got:
1. iPhone4 leather casting and new Fererro Rocher.
2. A book – The Alchemist.
3. A wristband.
4. A great dinner at Victoria Station (I ate lobster).
Thank you so much for the great gift.
To those who wished me Birthday, thank you so much too.
Time flies too fast, and when we realize… we are older now and got little time for us to achieve the goal in life.
Take care.

8 beach boys arrested over attack on man along Batu Ferringhi beach
The 26-year-old victim was believed to be involved in a heated argument with a group of more than five men before he was attacked with wooden sticks and helmets.
He was later sent to the Penang Hospital for head injury.
Penang police chief Datuk Wira Ayub Yaakob said initial investigation revealed that the attack could be over unpaid debts.
“We arrested two beach boys after the 2am incident on Saturday and another six on Sunday.
“Two of the eight suspects, aged between 20 and 30, were tested positive for drugs.
“We have also retrieved the closed-circuit television footage from Jalan Emas that have captured images of the attack for investigation,” he said when met at the Penang Hospital Sunday after visiting a policeman at the intensive care unit.
DCP Ayub warned unlicensed beach operators to be more responsible in their activities pending proper guidelines and standard operating procedures.
“Make sure there is no territorial dispute, gangsterism or drugs involved or we will not hesitate to take action,” he said.
It was reported Sunday that Penang has relaxed the temporary ban on water sports along Batu Ferringhi.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng had said unlicensed beach operators would be allowed to operate under strict surveillance over a seven-day period that ends on Feb 19.
On Feb 5, the state announced a temporary ban on all water sports activities in Batu Ferringhi following an accident involving a Chinese tourist.
Zhu Li, 47, broke both her legs when a water scooter rammed into her on the beach where she was taking a walk.
On Christmas Eve last year, seven-year-old Rina Aizawa from Japan was playing on the beach when a parasailing rope hooked her neck, lifting her off the ground and dragging her for a short distance at the beach.
On Jan 18, Qian Tian Zi, 23, from China sustained leg injuries when she was about to be launched into the air during parasailing.

Di manakah aku?
Aku menaiki sebuah kenderaan. Aku tak pasti sama ada ianya sebuah kereta ataupun van. Kami semua berpakaian putih. Aku keliru. Ke manakah hala tuju? Apakah tujuan? Aku seperti hilang arah.
Aku masih terngiang-ngiang. Tidak tahu di manakah tempat itu.
Kami semua diturunkan.
DI MANAKAH AKU?
Bila kami semua berkumpul, aku dapati bersama-sama aku terdapat kawan adik ku. Arina jika aku tak tersalah nama. Bersama kawannya.
Kemudian kami mula berjalan. Berjalan ke satu lorong yang agak suram. Di sebelah kiri terdapat sebuah kawasan yang kelihatan seakan padang bola tetapi tiada rumput. Seakan-akan kolam renang pun ada. Yang dipenuhi pasir.
Apabila melepasi lorong suram itu, kami menjumpai sebuah kolam. Sekelilingnya terdapat batu-batu. Seram bila melihat kolam itu. Tak rasa seperti hendak mandi pun.
Kemudian kami semua terkejut. Pelik.
Ketiga-tiga orang tu nampak gelisah.
Wallahualam...)

iPhone screen goes black/blank
This evening when I was on my home I was shock with my black screen iPhone. My mother wants to buy dinner and when I stopped in front of the restaurant, I took out my iPhone from my pocket and it was black/blank as usual. Then when I pressed the Home button which it was suppose to show the slide to the right command on the screen did not appear. I pressed the power button; still it could not switch on.
Then I started to worry.
Hey, it was not even a month yet!
When reached home, I rushed to my room and put everything including my bag and water tumbler on my bed and sadly the water tumbler dropped on the floor and the water just splashed all over my things that were on the floor! Including my books and some modems! How lucky am I?
I cleaned up the mess and switched on the fan as fast as it could be. Took out my netbook and started to seek for solution on the internet.
It was easy.
What you need to do is press the power button and Home button together and holds them until the Apple logo appears.
Yay!

Life is not easy
Jimmy a guy with goals and had achieved important goal like own a house and own a car before his age reach 30.
He planned to gain as much experience and money he could for his next goal, own a business. Yes, a business even though he did not know what type of business suits him, yet. He got a few businesses that might be suit to his cup of tea and they kept playing in his mind.
Laughter is the best medicine. Yes, it is a famous quote. But how true it is? Nobody knows. Jimmy always laughs and smiles, which hide his sorrow that caused by problems that he was facing including family matters, work, and friendship.
He was lucky to have a lover who understands him. A lover that always gives him courage and support no matter how difficult a situation could be. He should be thankful because if not, there is a promise that his life will be upside down. Yes, a promise.
He worries too much about his niece and sister. His mother.
Their financial was crucial. Very crucial. Jimmy did not know how long it will take to make their family back to normal. He still thinks that the problem started when the whole family took loan for sister’s wedding and brought out some cash from the credit cards.
He successfully stopped all the cards and now planned to help the family. But, how?
His brother in law had no job, which made his sister bear all the consequences. The debt was overloaded on her alone such as house, car and kid. Jimmy blamed the brother in law of course even though he did not speak out what he feels. A husband should work hard no matter what and raise his own family. There is no excuse for that. So, Jimmy forced himself to swallow all the excuses given by his mom and sister when he mentioned about this.
His mom helped his sister whenever she got financial problem which gave her more burden and add more debt around her.
Jimmy did not realize that he had depression. He could cry and lock himself in his room. The only thing that played in his mind when he locked himself was he could die soon. Not suicide but with God’s help. That was very pitiful. He blamed himself that he could not help his mom and family. He tried his best to sell clothes and open a small business to save some money for the future. His dad is ill. What about if someone else in the family is sick and need to be warded? None of them has life insurance. That was the pathetic part.
Tick Tack Tick Tack.
The sound of his clock was loud for his ear. His own heart beat was loud too. Why? He wondered. Now, he was at the balcony of his apartment. He was sitting on the balcony wall alone. He felt cold. He could not think of anything anymore. He felt very dizzy. What he could see now, down there were so many people pointing fingers at him. He looked at the sky and smile.

Malaysia win AFF Suzuki Cup on 4-2 aggregate and Public Holiday on Friday
Malaysian players celebrate their 4-2 aggregate win over Indonesia to lift the AFF Suzuki Cup. -- PHOTO: AFP
JAKARTA - MALAYSIA have won the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 4-2 on aggregate. Indonesia won the second leg of the final 2-1 in Jakarta on Wednesday night but Malaysia had won the first leg 3-0 on Sunday.
The scorers for Indonesia were Ridwan (87th minute)and Mohammad Nasuha (71st). Safee Sali had scored in the 52nd minute to first put Malaysia 1-0 in the lead.
Never has there been such an overwhelming show of support for Indonesia's 'Timnas' (its national team) although they had lost to Malaysia in the first leg of the final in Bukit Jalil in Malaysia, on Sunday.
In the first half on Wednesday though, Indonesia threw all it had at a gutsy Malaysian team. The Malaysian boys, however, held their ground and also survived a penalty miss by the hosts. Earlier, Indonesian fans created a sea of red and white at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium but they were to be disappointed in the end. -- THE STAR/ANN
Second news is:
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak declared tomorrow a public holiday to celebrate the Malaysian football team winning the AFF Suzuki Cup in Jakarta.
He also congratulated the team.
"Well done, Malaysian Tigers! You played well as a team and have made your country very proud. Congratulations!" he said in his Twitter account after the second leg of the final.
Malaysia went down to Indonesia 1-2 in that nail-biting match but walked away winners on a 4-2 aggregate after winning the first leg 3-0 at National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Sunday.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the victory showed that nothing was impossible if one wanted to win.
"The effort, sweat and sacrifice of each player, coach and officer contributed to the win. I urge the players to maintain a high performance so that Malaysia can hold its head high in the international arena."

No water supply [Day 2]
Today I’m still on leave to complete my assignments. This is the consequence for not do it earlier. Ok, no complain about how many assignments and how difficult it is. The blame is on me. Yes, me.
Ok, let’s back to the topic above. They gave us notice about the water supply. Yes. But they didn’t tell us it will be 2 days.
Crap!
2 days is way too much. Doesn’t matter whatever excuse they are going to give.
This time we weren’t ready and we have to eat and drink less too. No water at all! We have no spare tank. Gosh!
I love Malaysia!

No water supply in Penang
I guess all Penangite knew about this since last week (I put the word guess because it was a surprise when one of my friends last night claimed that she does not know about this in the library LOL).
2 things I hate. No water. No electricity. Very troublesome.
But we must think of some solutions instead of keep complaining. Lucky for me that I don’t need to go to work today and finishing my assignments as the due date is just around the corner. Like one of my colleagues said
Yusma Comel Ha3x.. Demam bukan sebab tak sihat.. Tapi demam sebab last minute nya assignment. Biasa la tu bro.. Tapi orang kata last minute nya preparation is the best..( Sebab ko takkan ubah dah) kalau buat awal2 rasa banyak nor tak kena.. Sikit nak ubah.. Sikit2 nak tambah..
(copied from Facebook).
LOL.
Kinda agree with him even though it’s a bad practice (I can’t stop laughing!).
Ok, back to the topic.
Not only at home, but in the office too, people were getting ready with this matter. They kept the water in any container doesn’t matter big or small since yesterday. I know that staying home give me no difference from staying in the office but actually it’s better. Why? Our office toilets are VERY dirty! =.=”
Remember I wrote about the Dirty Toilet before? Click here in case you never read it or have forgotten
I won’t go in unless I have to, but to go in there when there is no water at all? A big NO for me Eww!
So, I rather stay home and completing my assignments.
To YOU who don’t know about this news at all, read this:
GEORGE TOWN (Dec 9, 2010): Save up water this Christmas holidays as there will be a 12-hour water supply interruption on Dec 28 on most parts of the state.
Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) will shut down water supply between 7am and 7pm on that day in order to conduct major waterworks project at its main water treatment plant.
A total of 440,000 registered water consumers will not have piped water supply on that day, said PBAPP general manager Jaseni Maidinsa in a press conference to announce the water supply disruption.
"This is the first major scheduled supply interruption since 2006 and we need to carry out upgrading and maintenance work at the Sungai Dua Water Treatment Plant to ensure continuous good water supply in future," he said.
About 80% of the 1.6 million Penangites will be affected by the water supply shutdown, he said.
The areas affected are the whole of Seberang Perai, Bayan Baru, Bayan Lepas, Farlim, Batu Maung, George Town, Gelugor, Batu Maung, Batu Uban, Bukit Dumbar, Bukit Gambir, Bukit Gelugor, Bukit Jambul, Island Glades, Island Park, Paya Terubong, Pantai Jerejak, Relau, Permatang Damar Laut, Sungai Ara, Sungai Dua, Sungai Nibong, Taman Brown and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Two areas, Gertak Sanggul and Teluk Kumbar, will experience 24-hour water supply interruption starting from 7am on Dec 28 up till 7am on Dec 29.
Meanwhile, Teluk Bahang, Batu Ferringhi and Tanjung Bungah will not be affected as these areas' water supply came from the Guillemard Reservoir and Teluk Bahang Dam.
Consumers may call PBAPP 24-hour Call Centre at 04-5096509 for further details.
(Note: Plan to go to any river/stream but cancel as few assignments awaiting me )

Pencil & Eraser

Pencil: I'm sorry
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry because you get hurt because of me.
Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad.
I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational. Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way, they get hurt, and become smaller / older, and eventually pass on. Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.
All my life, I've been the pencil. And it pains me to see the eraser that is my parents getting smaller and smaller each day. For I know that one day, all that I'm left with would be eraser shavings and memories of what I used to have.
(I got this via email.)

USM’s parking
It’s my third week which is the last week of intensive course in USM. That mean, almost 3 weeks I did not go to work. It was not a honeymoon for me either. No time for badminton, proper exercise and books (I do not mean the educational ones of course). I take 10 papers this year and 3 papers left – Management Accounting, Business Statistic and Marketing. I got the results for International Business and Managerial Finance. The results were bad. I’m kind of frustrated but I do not want these two results will spoil the mood for the next three papers.
During the intensive course, many things had happen but what I want to highlight here is about summon.
Believe it or not, I had been summoned by the USM’s guard. Ok, I know that rule is rule and is not meant to be broken but there is a reason which makes me upset.
Even prisons were made to be broken LOL
I realize that every time we have exam does not matter mid term (we called it Peperiksaan Berterusan (PB)) or final exam, we will face the same problem which is parking space. The same dates, there will be army with their vehicles and marching, sports at the stadium or anything that involve a lot of people from outside occupied the parking space. When this happen, we students, do not have enough parking space and we have to park somewhere around there which have been claimed as illegal parking for the Security Department. I was late during my English exam which I accidentally woke up late and drove my car hurriedly to the exam hall. Sadly, the parking space was full and since I was late and did not want to waste time, I parked at the roadside and ran to the hall. To my surprise, I got a white summon ticket on my windscreen. I thought I got clamped which I need to call them and pay RM20. I looked around my car, there was no clamp. I felt relieve. Then I went to the library to meet some other friends and we went out for lunch in one car, which I did not drive mine. In the car, I was telling them about this and they wanted me to solve this matter properly, afraid that my car will be blacklisted and cannot drive in USM anymore. So, after lunch, we drove to the Security Department. When we asked the guards there, they said we must refer the case to the traffic department but there was no one at the counter and the staff there told us they were at the sticker counter (they gave out USM’s sticker to the students). I was pretty surprise about it as don’t you think they should placed 1or 2 traffic staff at the counter since there were a few cases about clamp and summon ticket based on my observation as some peoples were complaining about it there. They told us that we have to go to the sticker counter. So, we drove there and when we asked the staff there, they said I need to solve this matter at the Security Department office. Er, hello? We are not a ball to be kicked here and there, alright? During the intensive course there were a lot of cars and it was very difficult for us to park our car. We drove back to the Security Department, and met the staff there. LUCKILY, we found one of the people in charge to deal. Again, I was so shock that he said I need to pay RM50! Clamp is much better than this. It is so impossible that they can fine higher than police which is RM30! I was very upset as RM50 just flew away in a blink. VERY SAD.
I found a good blog about this: http://usmcampusnews.blogspot.com/2010/08/how-do-you-solve-parking-problem-at-usm.html. I understand the clamping rule, but what about the RM50 non-clamping issue? Isn’t it too much? I do not blame the authority to fine those who do not obey the rule but I hope they can reduce the amount as I still think RM50 is a lot.
It’s 2am. It is just a rambling since I have ignored my blog for a long time. Have a nice day
