The top five cancer-causing foods

The top five cancer-causing foods are:

1. Hot dogs
Because they are high in nitrates, the Cancer Prevention Coalition advises that children eat no more than 12 hot dogs a month. If you can't live without hot dogs, buy those made without sodium nitrate.

2. Processed meats and bacon
Also high in the same sodium nitrates found in hot dogs, bacon, and other processed meats raise the risk of heart disease. The saturated fat in bacon also contributes to cancer.

3. Doughnuts
Doughnuts are cancer-causing double trouble. First, they are made with white flour, sugar, and hydrogenated oils, then fried at high temperatures. Doughnuts, says Adams , may be the worst food you can possibly eat to raise your risk of cancer.

4. French fries
Like doughnuts, French fries are made with hydrogenated oils and then fried at high temperatures. They also contain cancer- causing acryl amides which occur during the frying process. They should be called cancer fries, not French fries, said Adam.

5. Chips, crackers, and cookies
All are usually made with white flour and sugar. Even the ones whose labels claim to be free of trans-fats generally contain small amounts of trans-fats.

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS

1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power..

3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.

7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.

2. Not urinating in the morning.

3. Too much eating.

4. Skipping breakfast.

5. Consuming too much medication.

6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food colouring, and artificial sweetener.

7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.

8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to 'schedule.'
DO TAKE CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH...............

  3. danial - yes. back to the old age. that's what happening to people who live in rural area now too. what's good could a metropolitan brings us? nothing but great entertainment, high-tech gadgets and cancer (now i'm being ridiculous eh? keke). eh i really wanna try your cooking. looks so delicious!

idyani - yes. i can't stop daddy from smoking which i wish i could. if i do, we will end up with a frown on each other face. so i choose not to say anything. even my bro in law smokes. not good for the baby though. but what else i could do rather than spread around the article in hard copy? kids nowadays love fast food. not just its easy to get now, but its 24hrs a day. imagine that. world is bleeding like BCD said... or its people?

  4. I got the same info in my email too. I am not a fan of processed food myself, and thinking abt it, nowadays, we do eat a lot of fast and easy processed food which is loaded with lots of chemicals. Anyway, no one really knows the exact causes of cancer till date, which is why there is still no cure! however, knowing the possibilities of cancer causing and taking prevention is good.

Gosh, I hate this disease and scared too!

  5. farah - yes i hate it too farah. that's why i blog a lot about it on how to prevent and cure (even though not 100%). i hope we can eat healthy food like the old age where fast foods are like aliens. pity kids nowadays... they don't even know what is good to eat.

  7. I guess I'm guilty of sleeping late and overeating especially during buffets! Will have to sleep earlier and go less buffets : )

Luckily, I'm not a fan of hotdogs, precessed meats, doughnuts, french fries and chips. I try to eat as healthily as humanly possible, though it's sometimes tough especially when you eat out.

But we need to, cos cancer and diabetes are increasing at an alarming rate.

I've read these tips before, but it's good you post it here - a good reminder to us all!

  31. Awwwww !!

Since I got my own nutritionist, after I read ur entry, now I understand what is the important of HEALTHY FOOD.

    U know admar,

My meal has been taken care, I need to write whatever I eat. Basically I've been advised to take breakfast, do not skip LUNCH (as our body will use our muscle to work not FATS) and take our dinner before 7pm.

    Drink plenty of water.

Hmm, I lose 6kg by followed my nutritionist advises and diet. Hahaha !

Felt so much healthier than before !

Anyway thx for ur info once again !

    ReplyDelete
  32. i got this too, but it's good to share nonetheless. but i dunno how donut can be that bad.

    ReplyDelete
  33. zackzara - yes zara. i find it hard for me to avoid too but to reduce consume them i could. *i guess haha*.

p/s: mc d tolong kurang sikit ye :P

tammy - well, tammy. we choose how to live and i'm not sure the info is 100% correct. maybe we can get some advise from doctor. to me they are correct as they are deep fried no matter what and doc told me before that deep fried is always bad.

cahaya - aren't we looking to be a better person each day? start from food and healthy lifestyle then :) hehe.

ad - oh ya. belum buat kan. haha! jap jap.

rush murad - hehe kertu tapi poket lebat takpe. ala jumpa je doc syukur suruh dia kasi free check up haha.

ann - you are lucky to get some advise from your nutritionist. after all, its their job right? hehe. yes the advise is so right. you don't skip meal if you are on diet but eat less. you can't skip day meals like some peoples do but less intake especially breakfast. you can get faint if you don't eat proper breakfast because of system dysfunction. yes... live a healthy life! :)

zewt - deep fried is the answer. no other way too cook doughnut right?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anonymous10:46 PM

the bad thing is i love doughnuts and french fries though i dont eat them every day .

and the good thing is i love raw veggies more than i love the cooked ones . especially carrots and celeries . <33

oh yeah , going to bed late at night is one of my bad habits .
but i do wake up 'quite' early in the morning .
    haha .

    ReplyDelete
  35. berrykisses - Same goes with me. I love fries and doughnut too. Fact does hurt sometimes right? :)

Carrots and celery? Er, that is pretty wild choice. That's a rare choice. Usually people will go for spinach or lady finger. But they are good anyway :)

When you sleep late and wake up early, that means you have little time for your sleep. Do you know that when you don't have enough sleep actually you have killed half of your life? Ask your doc :P

    ReplyDelete
  36. Anonymous7:59 AM

of course carrots and celery are good . they are crunchy and scrumptious . haha . :DD

really ? well , i used to sleep overtime until i was feeling dizzy .
but somehow , i dont really enjoy sleeping now . haha .

ask my doc ? maybe u should say 'ask your docs' . perhaps they overlooked the part where 'im killing half of myself' . :P

    ReplyDelete
  37. Berrykisses - I tried celery juice before. The taste sucks haha! I mean, I don't like it even though they mixed it with apple.

You don't enjoy sleeping? Why? Doc said if you don't sleep enough, you cut your life to half. Tun Mahathir said you have how many years for your life, minus sleep and eating how many days left for you to gain knowledge? Your choice :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous1:59 PM

really ? i never tried the celery juice before and i dont want to try it . seriously , i dont like vegetable juices except for carrot juice . :|

    haha . okay ! i'll try to sleep 8hours a day . :D

    ReplyDelete
  39. Berrykisses - Haha I love watermelon juice a lot! Its juicy till the last drop :)

Good girl. Don't be naughty at school too :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Anonymous3:36 PM

    watermelon is a fruit , not a veggie . :P

ive always been a good and nice girl .
and now , im trying to be a lil bit naughty . *a lil bit only*
somehow , i really do enjoy being a rules breaker .
    haha . syhhh !

    ReplyDelete
  41. Berrykisses - Haha my mistake. Getting confuse though. What about paprika? Is it a fruit or veggie? Hehe trick question :P

Break the rule is not the best solution :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Anonymous8:22 PM

    i think its a spice .
    haha . :P

erm , i know but i dont feel like sticking to the rules anymore . B)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Berrykisses - No its a fruit! Haha. I didn't know until I attended a course regarding Stress Management :) She talked about healthy foods too.

You better stick to the rule and if you don't like the rule don't break it but discuss with the one who make the rule :) Rule is made by human and we can change it due to circumstances :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Anonymous8:39 PM

oh man , i thought its a spice . are you sure its a fruit ?

well , i dont break the rules at all time . just once in a while . :P
