Asics Badminton Shoes

At last I got my Asics badminton shoes! Yeay!

I planned to buy other color which is more striking but they did not have my size.

In the end, I bought this one. Double gel. Which is better than single gel and can protect my legs :-)

I'm so happy today!

MAKSAK 2011

I had registered last week to join this competition.

Reason: To gain experience.

Some people might say, “Ah, there is no improvement, better not joining!”

But for me, who cares?

… It is better than keep defeating the same opponent which are your colleagues.

Ok, that’s worse.

Back to the topic.

It was my second time joining MAKSAK. The joined for the first time in 2004. LOL. So long time ago when I was very young.

I gave myself a try this year.

Again, we are lack of preparation and we lose again :(

It was sad but I have to accept it as part of the experience.

The boring part is, why in all competitions in Penang I see the same face? Grr!

Full with state player crap. LOL. Who cares?

I will ignore badminton until end of April to focus on my final exam :)

Good bye badminton for the time being.

Malaysia win AFF Suzuki Cup on 4-2 aggregate and Public Holiday on Friday

Malaysian players celebrate their 4-2 aggregate win over Indonesia to lift the AFF Suzuki Cup. -- PHOTO: AFP

JAKARTA - MALAYSIA have won the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 4-2 on aggregate. Indonesia won the second leg of the final 2-1 in Jakarta on Wednesday night but Malaysia had won the first leg 3-0 on Sunday.

The scorers for Indonesia were Ridwan (87th minute)and Mohammad Nasuha (71st). Safee Sali had scored in the 52nd minute to first put Malaysia 1-0 in the lead.

Never has there been such an overwhelming show of support for Indonesia's 'Timnas' (its national team) although they had lost to Malaysia in the first leg of the final in Bukit Jalil in Malaysia, on Sunday.

In the first half on Wednesday though, Indonesia threw all it had at a gutsy Malaysian team. The Malaysian boys, however, held their ground and also survived a penalty miss by the hosts. Earlier, Indonesian fans created a sea of red and white at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium but they were to be disappointed in the end. -- THE STAR/ANN

Second news is:

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak declared tomorrow a public holiday to celebrate the Malaysian football team winning the AFF Suzuki Cup in Jakarta.

He also congratulated the team.
"Well done, Malaysian Tigers! You played well as a team and have made your country very proud. Congratulations!" he said in his Twitter account after the second leg of the final.

Malaysia went down to Indonesia 1-2 in that nail-biting match but walked away winners on a 4-2 aggregate after winning the first leg 3-0 at National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Sunday.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the victory showed that nothing was impossible if one wanted to win.
"The effort, sweat and sacrifice of each player, coach and officer contributed to the win. I urge the players to maintain a high performance so that Malaysia can hold its head high in the international arena."

Note: I LOVE MALAYSIA AND PROUD TO BE MALAYSIAN!

Sepak Takraw

IMG_3250

It has been a while since I wrote something here. I know, busy is not a good excuse even though it’s true that I’ve been busy (I mean, very busy) with a lot of things lately. Plus, it’s fasting month where most people will feel haggard and focus on the important things first. Oh yeah, another excuse :) (Hey! Do you realize that many blogger stop or quit blogging and focusing on their new interest, facebook-ing).

This is suppose to be an old post but after think twice, I decide to put this old post here anyway.

Last month, we had another event organized by Kelab Sukan dan Kebajikan (with our helpful, creative and talented Mohsein of course) -- Sepak Takraw competition. It was such a joyful and successful event.

I didn’t win anything but I felt good when sweat was all over my body and the heart thumping moment :)

Nothing much to write about since it is an old post haha, so enjoy the pictures alright?

Good? :) Hopefully you like them.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish Happy Ramadhan :)

Volleyball

Ok, first let us keep the title short. Done.

Second, let me write about what had happen instead of what is happening or will happen. Ok?

So, instead of writing about sepak takraw I will be writing about volleyball.

Last month we had a small competition among the staff. Yes, a volleyball competition. I did not expect the competition would be very provocative and full of chaos. Yet, it was such a successful event organized by two staff Zaki and Zaidi.

The rule was simple. We had 7 teams and had been divided into 2 group A and B. My team, Admin was in the same group with Q-Bur, Star Player and Iron Man -- Group A. In Group B, we had Old Star, Por and CSI. Only winner and second place in the group will go to semi final. We won against Iron Man, Star Player and Q-Bur (which was the favorite) which means we were the winner of the Group A. For Group B, CSI was the winner followed by Por. We met Por for the semi final and Q-Bur met with CSI. Result, Admin and Q-Bur won and met in the final. Ok, this is the bad part. We lose in the final! :) It was a long game 3-1. Very exhausting!

I got so many pictures in my folder but I will just put some ok? Enjoy.

As I said, it was a successful event :)
