Yesterday, I went to Gathering Cinta Utara with Keith. It was a blogger & facebooker gathering.
Right after doing my routine exercise sit ups and push ups and light breakfast –- roti canai, we drove out to Sunway Carnival Mall. I heard Esprit got sales. We went out around 12pm but went to bank and drank soy, surprisingly we still in the island when the watch showed 1pm.
We reached the mall around 2pm and only spent half an hour there as Esprit sales was a joke. A joke here means sales like G2000. If you’re a shopaholic or at least kind of, then you surely know what I mean.
So, around 2.30pm we drove out from the mall and heading straight to Alor Setar to meet Wani there. Driving in the bright sun and heat really make us sleepy. Furthermore, we skipped lunch!
We reached Alor Setar Selatan around 3.20pm and waited for her at the toll. Seriously, I’m not good with the road outside of Penang. Yea yea yea, I’m still in the box.
Wanie went for a wedding and then rushed to take dadih for the gathering. Then came to us. We sent her auntie home then straight to Wani’s house. She needed to change.
Around 4pm, we went out to buy Secret Recipe brownies but sadly it was too small and we hoped they have bigger ones. Too bad. We canceled the plan and went to the mall next to it and bought some snacks.
We reached there pretty late around 5.15pm. I was suffering to pee. Luckily, we managed to find the toilet somewhere not far from the lake. We saw some stalls selling foods. Remember we skipped lunch? Ok, so we bought 1 waffle and 1 cup corn. Half this and that and walked back to the gathering spot.
When we went back to the spot, it was full of people. Damn, hate this. I’m a shy guy of course and what should I do?
Instead of appropriate shaking hand I just wave as Hello to them. I never join any gathering like this, where you never know or meet them before. I guess it was appropriate enough for me and Keith :)
There were some junks and cupcake brought by them. We ate 1 cupcake and 2 cups of dadih. Let me tell you, the dadih was very good! I like it a lot.
Then, I started to snap some pictures. It’s weird right when you just leave your DSLR untouched for 3 weeks, you already can feel awkward with your own gadget :) Try to adapt with it fast or else, there is no picture of the event at all. Blame the cameraman -- Azim.
Enjoy the pictures :)
The gathering ended around 7.30pm. Then we got another plan!
Stay tune ya!
