we defeated blackburn

We've defeated Blackburn with 2-0. Credit goes to Christiano Ronaldo for scoring 2 goals. 1st half was really fun to watch but it turned dull for 2nd half as Saha has been replaced by Ronaldo and Nani played as right-winger replaced Ronaldo. Great dribble skill by Giggs too, I've craving for his skill for so long :) Also big applause to Anderson and Brown for playing well last night. Not to forget solid defence by Vidic and Ferdinand. Hail Manchester United!

saturday 10.11.2007

I went for a hair cut early at noon. Just cut it short, almost like a soldier haha! Don't comment about it please.. I know it looks terrible!

We went to Su Ail Kenari for lunch. Went with two cars, dad and me the drivers -- together with mom, aunt, Hadi and Dayah. We ordered Ikan Tiga Rasa, Kailan Goreng, Sotong Tepung, Sup Sayur and Sup Daging. It was delicious I'd say :) Not to mention the night before we went for Nasi Dalcha Rahim. My aunt really enjoyed the food.

On the way home, something interesting happen on the road. Can you see how they pushed the broken motorbike to the workshop? Don't you think it's dangerous? This is Malaysian road ethic ;)

Yes, another victory to Man Utd. We defeated Dynamo Kylv with 4-0. Congrats to Rooney, Teves, Ronaldo and Pique.

Sorry to Arsenal for just a draw game early this morning. It was 0-0 with Slavia :)

disenggagement & big game

Woke up around 7am and checked email. Ate breakfast and ready to travel. Around 10am we were ready to move. There are 4 cars (1st car Mak Chak, Pak Chak and Kak Su, 2nd car Pak Ngah, Mak Ngah and Ayen, 3rd car Abang Izan, Kak Ilah, Aifal dan Arisya, 4th car mom, dad and me). We went to Sungai Siput, Perak for Kak Su’s disengagement. We finished roughly around 2pm. Then went to Ipoh and ate mee rebus there. It was just ok nothing special. We planned to go to Taiping Zoo but cancelled due to heavy rain. Plus, I have big game to watch tonight. We stopped at Sungai Perak for coffee [refer the picture below]. Drove back, rain still pour heavily. We stopped again at Semanggul for dinner and toilet. Right after that, we drove straight to Penang. I need to be at Perda (since no time to go home and come back) around 8.45pm. Reached there around 9pm. Lucky there was no goal yet. It was rain there, but not as heavy as in Perak. The fan for both were hunger for goal (Arsenal vs Man Utd), same went with my colleague. The goal started with Rooney netted the 1st goal for Man Utd at 45 minutes. The scream was impossible I’d say. 2nd half Fabregas scored for Arsenal. I just kept blaming Wes Brown for not marking Fabregas since that fella was soloing ran from the middle until in front of the goal and Brown did nothing but watch him like watching a movie until he netted the ball. Great pass by Evra gave Ronaldo big opportunity to score and it was 2-1, I was so happy… can you imagine it was an away game for us and we lead? Ah! Come on… I must be dreaming :) At injury time 90+ minutes Gallas scored. It was clumsy in front of Man Utd’s goal post and hardly sees the goal. Ah! It was just about bet and bookie but I enjoyed the game even though I was wet in the rain :)

strawberries

Daddy brought home some strawberries! To tell you honestly, strawberry is my favorite fruit ever instead of kiwi! :)

raya party [admin]

The party was fun. It was sponsored by Kak Ana, Kak Zila, Kak Pah dan Kak Zaini. The menu was lontong, sambal sotong, rojak buah, pudding and caramel. Delicious I’d say! Our branch director didn’t allow us to celebrate but we made it anyhow. Nah! It won't really waste the time and we celebrate it once a year. So, why not?

more computer for aunt's cc

I put another computer at my aunt’s internet café. That mean I have invested around RM7.5k for 3 computers. I’ll get RM300 per computer monthly which means I’ll get back my capital in 8 months :)

My plan is to finish my car loan as soon as possible. Then I can start save some money for traveling :)

Happy but sad, because I’ve to forget about Kitaro’s concert since I've used up all my money on my investment.

ear pain : ep 2

I went to see doctor for the appointment as being told. He pumped some water into my ear to take out all those wax and he found out that inside my ear, it was reddish -- sore. So he gave me new ear drop for that purpose. Need to use it for 5 days and twice a day and that’s it my Essential Tremor has gone. No more shaking :) This really put a smile on my face. Actually I realized about it when I had to lift up some heavy things like tables and chairs and no more shaking after that. The Eczema is getting better too.

Day was boring. I hate stay in the office.

ear pain : ep 1

I went to work. Around 8.45am I went to clinic nearby called Allan & Gunstensen. My ear was getting on my nerve. It didn’t hurt but keep beeping as fast as the heartbeat for almost a week. It made me couldn’t sleep last night. I went to see Doctor Sukumaran. He was a very good doctor. I told him about my 4 problems. My right ear, my skin disease (it was insect bite but last for months!), my shaking hands (I had refer to 2 other clinics before but they told me it was nothing serious) and my headache that happen all in sudden. He told me that the ear was just fine, the wax on the right ear is way too much compare to the left one -- it blocks and that's why I got that beeping sound. So he gave me medicine, I need to drop into my right ear about 4 drops twice a day and I’ve to see him again on Thursday for further checking. The shaking hand was about tremor. He said nothing to worry about since many people has this problem. He gave me pills to take half each time twice a day. About my insect bite, doctor said it was actually eczema -- kind of skin disease. I was speechless. Last was about the headache, he told me that it was just dizziness. He gave me panadol for that. Perhaps, he was right since I couldn’t sleep caused by the ear beeping non-stop.

The great news was about my niece. Doctor has confirmed that no problem with her platelet anymore, it was just virus and she is just fine now :)

sushi

Sushi anyone? Hehe to tell you the truth, I'm not fan of sushi but I love to try anything that can be eaten in the world (Yes halal ones of course :P)

So these were sushi that I tried. Taste funny but at least I know how the taste is :)

bouncer

They bought bouncer at last. The bouncer cost around RM70 and the balance they bought shirt for Puteri and hats :) (remember I gave money to my sis before?)

She looked so adorable.

bbq party

I worked overtime yesterday from 10am to 2pm. Finished all the medical bills and went home. Reached home had lunch and rested for a while. Started at 5pm, we moved tables and chairs. Around 7pm we started to burn the coals and grilled the chicken, potatoes and satay. Other dishes like bihun goreng, honey dew, nasi impit, lemang and rendang. I’d say all the food were so mouth-watering! (but urgh, to grill them were tiring and hot!)

We finish around 3am (I know you won't believe this) after roughly around 100 people came. I was so tired, didn’t eat much though and right after we cleared the rubbish and brought back those tables and chairs in the house I showered and slept.

kitaro concert 30th nov 2007

I'm still looking for friend who wants to go to Genting Highlands on 30th November for Kitaro’s concert. I had miss the chance to see Richard Clayderman concert and to miss this opportunity for Kitaro is impossible. Anyone interested? Let me know :)

raya celebration by ppn

Today Pejabat Pengarah Negeri (PPN) had a party for Inland Revenue Board, Penang. The menu were delicious -- soto, rendang, nasi impit, laksa, ketupat and some raya cookies. Special thanks to all of them for the great hospitality.

Office was boring and worse when I’ve to sing with the choir group from 3-5pm. Urgh!

Went back at 6:15pm and stuck in jam for 2 hours. I really hate when they do work on the bridge, it’ll ruin the whole highway!

malay dilemma

I borrowed a book from my colleague titled “Malay Dilemma” by Tun Dr. Mahathir. This is the book I was searching for weeks. I’ll update this blog as soon as I finish :)

hotel checking

Today I went to Grand Paradise Hotel with my boss for rooms checking and facilities for course. It was a good hotel with fish-bone’s structure. Meaning, all the rooms facing the sea ;)

The Sale Assistant Manager treated us lunch and it was quite ok. I ate Nasi Goreng Kampung (with fried chicken, satay and crackers) with pineapple juice.

Nothing much today, was bored at office.

uncle warded

On my way home with mom, we got sms from Kak Su that my uncle Pak Chak was warded at Pantai Hospital. We went there straight as they never delay on any of us when we were in trouble or warded. So I agree with “What goes around comes around” :)

My uncle was still in his lately condition, couldn’t talk right and even walk properly. Doctor detected block in his brain that could heading to stroke. Uncle should rest in ward and blood sample will be taken tomorrow morning after fasting for 10 hours. He told me he got vision problem all in sudden; his right eye.

We went home around 8 and bought dinner -- char koey teow and fried rice somewhere nearby the house.

lim goh tong

One of my idols Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong has passed away (the owner of Genting Highlands). Even though I haven’t read his book but the way he grabbed the chance was really amazing. He died at age 90 and left 14.6 billions assets. How incredible? He migrated from Fujian China to Malaysia with RM665 and a suitcase. He was the 3rd richest man in Malaysia before he died.

He’ll be my idol forever. Rest in peace…

spirulina

I bought spirulina for my sister. Hopefully the baby can get the benefit from it even though not 100%.

Here is info about spirulina that attract my attention :

“Spirulina contains unusually high amounts of protein, between 55 and 77% by dry weight, depending upon the source. It is a complete protein, containing all essential amino acids, though with reduced amounts of methionine, cysteine, and lysine, as compared to standard proteins such as that from meat, eggs, or milk. It is, however, superior to all standard plant protein, such as that from legumes.[6][7]

properties investment

I'm looking forward to buy a house in Penang. The 1st house would be a flat. Not for living but for properties investment/trading. I’ll update the blog if there’s anything new about it.
