What I bought in Terengganu?

Still remember I went to Terengganu for squid jigging? Read here.

We surely buy something back as souvenir doesn’t matter clothes, key chain or even foods. I think, you can guess what type of souvenir I bought :)

Let see what did I buy…

IMG_2761 (edit) Turtle’s egg!

Since it was school holiday, I already expected that the price will be more expensive than usual. I bought 10 eggs for RM32! But let me tell you, it’s worth for money! :)

Have you tried these two signature foods from Terengganu?

  1. Keropok lekor Losong ah. Last time used to be nicer. More fish in it. Now a lot of tourist, so the stalls added more flour in it. not that nice. Local go to the Pasar payang or the one outside Sabasun

Uiks? turtle eggs so cheap already? The last I heard was rm5/egg

Am sorry to say that this but I think people should stop consuming turtle eggs. A recent write up in the newspaper highlighted the possible extinction of turtles if people continue to consume this delicacy.

    I like the lekor. They're tasty :)
