Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland & Through The Looking-Glass

image

Still remember I put Alice in Wonderland trailer from Youtube months ago?

Alright, I got an advance birthday present from Emelda aka Insomniac; which is this book.

I always think Alice in Wonderland is just a piece of fiction or fantasy, a light one of course, and only suit kids. But I was wrong. This book gave me a different perspective about Alice in Wonderland.

This book has 2 stories.

First one, is the one that we always know, since we were little. About Alice, who fell into a well and the fantasy started from there. She could speak with animals and even listen to their poem. Lovely ones. Lewis Carroll has made it real, no other book could produce a great book like this. It makes even adult feels like they are in the Alice’s world.

Second one, I never heard before. Through The Looking-Glass. Now, I know that this is the second story of Alice. About chess. Which ended, she became the queen. In the adventure, she met all chess characters. In the end, Alice realized that all the characters in her dream were related with the peoples around her, in reality. But then, there was a question running in her head. Who is the Red King in her dream? Which I don’t know too. I think the king is her dog?

For those who haven’t read the book, please get yourself a copy. Remember, the movie will be showing this March! Be fast ok?

Note: At this time, my eyes are so heavy. So sleepy. I write this while transferring all pictures that had been taken earlier. Stay tune :)
