Ah, this event happened so long time ago. Because of busy with work, study and sport… I almost forgot to write about it.
LHDN, Penang branch had make an inter-company badminton competition. The rule was, you must choose your partner in the same unit or the same unit boss. So, I chose one of the company’s police (what should I call them eh?) to be my partner. He was average player which seriously, I had to play more likely like a single player/mix double instead of playing men double. After all, it was for fun…and also a great test for me.
1st round was easy for us.
2nd round was tough. We played more than 1 hour for 3 games. We lose to the veteran double –- 16-21, 23-21, 23-25.
Honestly, I was a bit disappointed and frustrated that we couldn’t win in rubber game. I was totally exhausted but was hoping that my partner could make a miracle by making less mistake.
So, I lose my cup this time :)
I promise next year, I’ll take back the cup. I’ve been holding the cup since 2004. Kinda miss it.
