Faisal, as much as I like the sunshine, I desperately want it to rain everyday! Rain to clear the haze and to provide some relied from the intolerable heat!
Why you don't like the night? I love night time cos it's time for relaxation and sleep! : )

Sunshine is good, but as humans we need both to survive. Else our body system would all be messed up. Nights can be gloomy but if you look at it in a different point of view, it can be really refreshing. I don't know what point you looking at, but I look at it as "a day is about to come to an end, tomorrow begins another brand new day" or even "Enjoy candle lit dinner with a loved one" doubt we can do that in bright daylight hehehe. Besides, I would be sleep deprived if sunshine lasted through out the day.
Nope. It's a win-win situation.

Sunshine... The main sources of energy to our Earth... Thanks God to make the bright and shiny sun to our life...
haha.. you put as though daytime and night are competing with each other for sunshine. I believe they have a compromise of working together. Afterall moon's light source does come from sunshine and besides that, if sunshine would to last through out the day where as there is no night, animals in the night won't survive, like bats and owls (to name a few).
Other than that, they need rest too :P. Like us humans no?
