valentine's gathering

Thanks to Joseph for the brilliant idea -- Valentine’s Gathering. It’s so cool when some of us feel unhappy for not having a date, partner or spouse to celebrate this celebration. It’s already so hard to get through everyday life alone and this day would make you hate chocolate and roses more!

So last night, even though I didn’t want to go at first, I chose to go at last since Nadia, Sean and Wilbur wanted to go and it won’t be nice if I cancel the plan at last minute. So at 6.30pm I drove out to fetch Joseph in Bayan Lepas and drove him to Jemputree as he had make a reservation and he wanted to be sure that everything is fine.

Then I drove to Pulau Tikus to fetch Nadia but the traffic was bad. I mean really bad! When Nadia came in, she gave to me a small gift box with a card. It was my birthday gift! I was speechless and big smile on my face. Thanks Nadia!

We reached at Jemputree at 8.20pm and everybody was there. Great! I’m such a shy guy and I hate being late when everybody will look at you. After shook hand and introduce my name, I went to the washroom for peeing. Good excuse. I had a good inhale and exhale to calm myself and went out of the washroom.

I sat beside Lukas and Nadia just sat beside me. In front of us were Sean and Wilbur. We ordered some foods and here come the heart pumping moment -- ice breaking session. I felt like I was in a course but it was good as I didn’t know them and to most of us, it was our first time meeting with each other. Started from Joseph as he was the organizer (stop pointing at me as the leader :P) and till my turn. I simply told my name, where do I live and where do I work but because Joseph and Mart were busy snapping pictures, I had to repeat my introduction again. Great! I’m a shy guy remember? Trust me.

The food was so so and the ambience was good. So, the food taste won’t be a spoil for the night as the real purpose was not that. After a while, we decided to go somewhere to continue the conversation and to know everyone of us better.

After few considerations, we decided to go to Sean’s apartment at Mutiara Perdana.

We had a great time with cit chatting, playing UNO, Monopoly, some drinks and crackers and a lot of jokes by Nadia and Sean. I was shy but I managed to get involved into the conversation. Maybe there was a reason for me to be so shy! We were there until 4am and then I drove home as Lukas wanted to take Nadia home. So that I don’t need to drive to town and drive back home. Thanks to Lukas!

When reached home, I washed my face, brushed my teeth and gargling my cool mint Listerine. I got few text messages telling me that the gathering was fun and hope to meet again next month. I think this group will become bigger and another good thing is I have been invited to join them for badminton every Saturday from 2pm – 5pm. Great! I love sport so much!

Thanks to Joseph, Nadia, Sean, Wilbur, Lukas, Ryan, Logan, Mart and Jonathan for making this gathering a successful one.

I am not sure about next month date but for sure I will be joining.

birthday

Be patient to those who emailed me about the updates. Hehe. Some even call me lazy for leaving this blog for few days (you do the math).

First of all, thanks to Cik Ixora for the birthday cake!!!


Then, thanks to Suituapui for a special birthday post from him and Ajil my best friend (read previous post if you don't know who is him and why he is in Sarawak).

My birthday was on 9th Feb and I was away from home on 8th. There was no internet connection of course in that area. So I couldn’t update my blog.

I went to Chalet Pakya in Teluk Bayu, Sungai Petani with my family last Sunday. My younger sister and her family suppose to join us but her granny in law passed away on Friday and she got to wait there and help the relative. Left my dad, mom, sister, Dy and I and we went by a car. Yes, my car which is so small and imagine how we bring everything in that small car? Things like charcoal, rice, bait like fish and prawns, canned sardines, veggies, ice cube and so on. Oh yes, we went to Giant near our house to buy some stuff.


As soon as we reach there, mom and the girls started to cook and I helped dad with the fishing rod. Even though I couldn’t help much, but still my help was needed especially to put those little stuff into a small hole.


When we were ready with the rod, we started to fish. There were 4 rods altogether and guess what? We got nothing until we stopped for late lunch. The lunch was delicious especially when you can enjoy the meal by looking at the green scenery around and the smell of the sea simply fresh and give you a peace of mind. I loved it!


We fish till late at night.

Around 12 in the middle of the night, I went for shower. I know some of you might email, sms or call me for the nag… pneumonia ok I got it but I was sticky caused by the sweat :P Ok, ok I know sweating is sexy for you but… er... I did shower.

Dayah and Dy always got the hook stuck everywhere. Lol.

This time I got tricked. After shower, I was in the room and she called me out because the hook stuck again and the rod was moving. I thought it was my rod and went out of the room. Guess what? They sang me the birthday song! And I blushed like hell! Lol. To make the matter worse, the chalet beside us sang along! OMG.

Then they came to me… hugged and kissed me :)

Well, no cake or present but it was so wonderful. At the same time, Nurul my younger sister called me to wish.

Not to forget Inah, who called me earlier than 12 to be the first and because of the time difference, she had to call earlier. Thank you so much… and I really appreciate it. You know, some friends just live in the same country but still not calling! Hehehe no no, I don’t demand but I still appreciate to those who texted me :) better than those who forget me totally right? Hehehehe.

It’s a long list for me to list all names who wish me through sms but that doesn’t mean I can’t list them all hehehehe. Ok here you go… Emelda, JBJ, Cahaya, Achik, Teja, Azlina, Zana, Yim, Nadia, Bob, Ajil, Yusmani, Maklang, Mieja, Dek Na, Eddie, Joseph, Keith, Suituapui, Linda, Ayu, Azali and Nusaibah.

We continued fishing till 4am and slept till 8am and start fishing again haha! Guess what? We got very few fish compared to the last time we caught! (I went there with colleagues like 2 years ago and during that time I blogged in Friendster's blog here.).


Mom and dad, extend till 5pm on 9th which we were suppose to check out at noon. No problem with me and sisters as we still eager to catch more fish!!!

At 5pm, we checked out and we drove to another jetty which is also got few chalets for the same purpose. We wanted to have a look and to compare. There was a small coffee shop and we stop there for a while. After some consideration like parking and environment, we still prefer Pakya then this one. Then we drove home.


Reached home, we took shower and got ready to go out again. Yes, mom wanted to dine at Pizza Hut, to celebrate my birthday of course :)

We went to the nearest one, at Bayan Baru Giant. Parking is comfy and the restaurant is not as crowded as others. I prefer this one of course. I was more than please, when the Chinese waiter was so polite and very helpful! Another surprise… my youngest sis Dayah, told the waiter about my birthday and I didn’t know that we can get special birthday crunchy pancake with ice cream! Hehehehe. Thank you to my family for the celebration even though everybody was so tired and sleepy!


It was fun even though I got sunburn! Lol.

recently

Ok ok Naz. I’m writing something about what had happen to me recently. I know daily routine blog is boring but I don’t write about my daily life 24/7.

Since you really want to read something on my blog, I simply write junks. Lol. My body and mind are way too tired to think of something heavy. No, I won’t talk about my work of course. It’s boring and boredom kills, I know.

First of all, last Saturday I met a blogger name Tun Teja. It says in her blog that we can call her Teja. It changed when I met her. “Oh don’t call me Teja… call me Ema”. Er?


She was in Penang since Thursday if I’m not mistaken but I couldn’t make it to meet her earlier as it was a sudden plan and she was fine to meet on Saturday. I told her that I want to take her around at night as it’s more interesting at night than daytime.

On Saturday, she told me that she afraid that she can’t reach at the Sungai Nibong bus station if we go out at night time as the bus will be leaving at 10pm. Duh!

So I texted her telling her that we will be meeting in daytime then.

Shit happens I know.

Guess what?

No water at home all in sudden. No letter, no notification or anything. Damn. I was about not going to office on Friday when the same thing happened but I was lucky enough because we still got some water kept clean.

I told her that I can’t go out stink! You know… first impression is very important! Hahaha.

We got water in the afternoon, so my sister and I rushed for shower and went out to meet her. She wanted to meet at Khalil. I just agreed.

I hope she will come again for better foods! Lol.

I got few awards. Haha yes I got big smile now! In fact an evil laugh too! >:)

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to God, thanks to my parent who are always by my side and support me, thanks to my family who I know seldom read my blog because its in English but still swallow it, thanks to my friends who most of them prefer to criticize rather than enjoying the post, thanks to my lovers who enjoy reading my craps and thanks to all my blogger friends who always keep yourself posted with my junks! Ok ok, no hard feeling; the lovers part just a gimmick of course. Lol. Ok, do I sound like I win Oscar?

I don’t want to talk about today as I got a letter to attend a course which I think it’s not for my work but for me to go Haj. Why I say so? The course will be in 3 days. 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening everyday we will have religious preach. Do you think it’s related to your job? Plus, I think its bias. Don’t ask me why I say that ok?

heart disease

I went out with an old friend to the coffee house not far away from my house. We ordered coffee for me and hot chocolate for him. We grabbed a magazine for each of us. I read articles about economy and investment and he read about health. He lighted up a cigarette and continued reading.

Then he laughed out loud.

“Read this article pal! It says coffee is the main reason why we get heart disease!!!”

I stayed silent. I looked at his cigarette and smiled.

In life it is the same thing. We always see wrong doing in others but not in us. A mirror doesn’t help much don’t you think?
